Privacy Policy

When you use DatraAI's services, we collect:

  • Contact information: Name, email address, company, role
  • Transaction data: Purchase history, license types, payment information (processed by Stripe — we do not store card numbers)
  • Usage data: Pages visited, dataset access logs, download records
  • Communications: Emails and messages you send us

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To process dataset access requests and purchases
  • To deliver datasets and send download links
  • To send transactional emails about your orders
  • To notify you of dataset updates or relevant new datasets (with consent)
  • To improve our services and dataset offerings

3. Worker Data in Datasets

Workers whose data appears in DatraAI datasets have provided informed written consent. All worker data is processed in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act 2023 (DPDPA). Worker identities are anonymized before dataset delivery. Workers may withdraw consent, triggering removal of their data from future dataset releases.

4. Data Sharing

We share your information only with:

  • Stripe: For payment processing
  • Resend: For transactional email delivery
  • Supabase: For database storage (hosted in your region)
  • Law enforcement when required by applicable law

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

5. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. Purchase records are retained for 7 years for tax compliance. You may request deletion of your data at any time.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction of inaccurate data
  • Request deletion of your data
  • Opt out of marketing communications
  • Data portability for data you have provided

7. Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections (TLS), signed time-limited URLs for dataset delivery, and access controls on all data stores.
